The Human Givens Diploma The Human Givens graduate and post-graduate diploma course is widely considered the UK’s premier psychotherapy skills qualification.
Overview All diploma course students learn powerful brief counselling interventions that are consistently effective as well as the fundamental body of knowledge about psychology and mind/body functioning upon which they are based;
- The course is both skills-based and supported by scientific research – all skills are demonstrated by the tutors;
- There is no requirement for personal counselling or psychotherapy for students on this course as research shows this is unnecessary and does not make for better counselling;
- The course tutors are practitioners, with proven teaching expertise, who have contributed to the development of effective psychotherapy;
- The course is part-time and can be done at your own pace and convenience, at a variety of locations around the country;
The diploma is externally assessed by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) who assess it at Masters degree level and is supported by Primary Care Mental Health & Education (PRIMHE), which is affiliated with the Royal College of General Practitioners.
